I had already wrapped the polished one. I did the hammered version later last night. I ended up opening up the polished one and giving it the same finish, based on everyone's input. It was for my ex. She asked me a while ago to make her one and it took about four failed attempts to get a version I liked.

Yep, sure do. Who said I was rejected? We're the closest of friends. Our daughter gets two parents who get along great. I'd say it's the perfect situation. We've transcended our previous relationship with a better one based on respect, appreciation and leading separate but connected lives. Plus, I get lots of nights out without any guilt when she has the kids.
