Yep, sure do. Who said I was rejected? We're the closest of friends. Our daughter gets two parents who get along great. I'd say it's the perfect situation. We've transcended our previous relationship with a better one based on respect, appreciation and leading separate but connected lives. Plus, I get lots of nights out without any guilt when she has the kids.

Once again you are impressive with your handy work, I too prefer the hammered one but both are excellent pieces of work.

That sounds so healthy for the kids. Congratulations on doing what most breakups don't.
    Cheers

I really like both versions, but like others I lean towards the hammered one too. That would also make a striking kilt pin.

Hammered for sure (the pin, not me). With more weight, a great kilt pin.

Fret not. I'm sure you'll all be seeing the kilt pin version soon. Heck, I have a week off with little to do.

It's not talent it persistence. That's one reason I like cast metal. If it doesn't turn out you melt it and remake it into something else. I've got a lot more failures than successes.

Persistance itself is a talent....also sometimes melting down mistakes is tempting....
