Any real life experiences with these out there??
I also have looked at this and wondered if any of you have used one for travel and/or storage? What are your thoughts on these?

I store my kilts rolled and kept in hose. When I'm travelling they drop right in the suitcase. The suitcase was chosen because it was just the right length for my kilts. I've tried travelling with kilts in a hanging bag and it never works as well.

Those things look OK - But it would be only one kilt....What good is that? Heck on my two week Panama cruise, I ended up taking 5 kilts if I remember right, and I wish I had brought more.

Oh sure, and well I remember that time. Sometimes I forget just how blessed I am to be retired and not have to dance at the beat of anothers drum. I, also just went and counted the three pair of jeans that still hang in my closet, because I can not bare to let them get thrown away in the trash.
But then I also look at the lovely examples of Highland heritage that I have the good fortune of wearing everyday. Sometimes I forget that others aren't as lucky as I am. If you only have one kilt to wear, -then wear it well.
Just as we convert our old style clothes to kilt wear, there must be something that I can do with those jeans. If I can convert a regular jacket to kilt wear then ........ what to do with those old jeans??
I still think the best way to carry a kilt, when it is needed, is to roll them and case them and plunk them into a suitcase. Nothing special really needed, except an old pair of discarded panty hose.

I have one of the cases that hold a rolled up kilt. I hardly ever travel, but once a year I stay the weekend at a friend’s farm and we head to the Glengarry Highland games. I am able to fit 2 kilts in to the bag and they always come out fine. They work nicely for car travel and leave tons of room for the cases golden liquid fun I take as a thank you to my friends house .

Well, I had two thoughts for those jeans. The first is give them to goodwill: let someone else who isn't blessed with a kilt wear them.
The second thought is to cut off the legs, run a seam along the length of the leg to reduce the diameter of the resulting tube - just big enough to allow you to insert a kilt into the denim tube. Trim to the appropriate length and close off the ends and viola! Instant denim kilt-carrier!
Besides: who hasn't wanted to desecrate (sp?) their p*nts now that they wear kilts full-time? ;)

I did do that with a couple of pair. I made some nice soft denim bags that I use as shoe bags, golf ball bags, tool bags etc.
