Good on ya. Nice work on the kilt, really shows of the tartan in the pleat effect.
Great work, Steve.

Very nice, I love the look of the entire outfit. I could never own a kilt with pockets, I tend to stuff my p ts pockets full of stuff!!
Wear in good health,

Sara, You just hit on the whole reason I make my kilts. I too tend to stuff my pockets full of all the things I use in a day. When I took these photos I had my pipe and tobacco pouch, a set of keys, my lighter and pipe tool, a change purse, at tape measure, two pens, and a old used hankie in those pockets.
Customers are always amazed when I ask them if they can see anything in the pockets, and when they say no, I start to unload them. I love to watch their eyes bug out at how much stuff is in there.
Oh, and I forgot to mention....The fabric for this kilt is 13 oz. Wool from Marton Mills. It is their Bute line and I couldn't be happier with it.
The fabric has a hard, dense weave and drapes wonderfully as you can see. The selvedge is perfect. Far better than some mills that use a turned selvedge.
It was a joy to work with.
Derek, check your PM's first thing in the morning.

I am shocked too!! That is so cool.
I have said this a few times, I really like fabric I have purchased from Marton Mills. I was thinking of going with the 16oz IOS, but since this is the second positive review I have read about the 13oz, I might have to go lighter.

Who is still shocked at what Steve can get into his pockets!

Another vote for purple Heritage kilt hose....
And thanks for the "brown look." gotta try it with my IOS.
