    I often adjust the right one looser than the left because I carry a Sgian Dubh on the right side, and it makes the right flash tighter than the left.

    Yes, the nice garters are adjustable, but those velcros are not. My calves are borderline too thick for the latter. I have never seen the garter ties until I came here. I like them and may order some from the STM.

    For those of you having trouble finding flashes for your big calves try this Seller on ebay. She makes them in sizes up to 22" and since she can also custom make them you can surely get them bigger. They are nice cross-grain ribbon at a good price.
