You both look great, wonderful outfit glad you enjoyed the show. I too enjoy dressing for the theater and am at times appalled by what outfits people think are acceptable.

For the record, I don't think not owning a jacket and tie should prevent anyone from enjoying a performance. But you should dress nicely in whatever you do have.
Of course, call me old fashioned (or a snob. I may well be) but I think that every man who can afford it should own at least one suit. You never know when that sudden wedding/funeral/call to Buckingham Palace/the White House will come. Not that my father listens to me when I tell him that. ;)
Getting back on topic, I still think you look great, Sp8!

You make a wonderful looking couple. I can't place the tartan, but it is beautiful, and the color combinations with the sporran, hose, and flashes is excellent. A very impressive photo. Thanks for sharing. Glad you enjoyed the Phantom.

You and your wife look very nice for the Phantom.
I got to see Robert Guillaume as the Phantom in LA years ago before he had his stroke and My girlfriend and I did not have time to get dressed up. We were walking by the hall on a visit to LA and thought what the heck let's try to get tickets. Walked up to the will call window and asked if there was any chance of getting tickets to the sold out show. The guy in the booth said "Boy are YOU lucky". Tickets had just been turned back in by some one in the show and would center 10th row be OK and they were $50 dollars apiece. The Show was in a hour and 1/2 and we didn't have time to get to our hotel and back. Had on clean Jeans and my girlfriend had on slacks and luckily regular shirts not Tshirts. So we really felt under dressed but totally enjoyed the show and could not believe our luck at the price of the Tickets and where we were seated. The couple next to us paid for their tickets from a Broker $150 each.
