That's exactly what happened to me. I was working the tartan info table, in the Scottish Tartans Museum tent (as usual), at last year's Stone Mountain Highland Games. As it so happened, Lamar, Matt, and Ronan had just worked things out, such that the Museum would start distributing Lamar's works of art to the kilt-wearing world. As a result, Lamar was hanging with us, throughout most of the weekend, to see how his sporrans were selling. Well, for some reason that's beyond me, the skunk Glengyle (which I had been drooling over, all weekend) never sold. The rest, as they say, is history.

Apparently, she was retroactively named Penelope. It's a pretty good name, really.
EDIT: I was late on the draw.

Normally, Pepé's romantic interests do include female skunks ("petite femme skunk"), but each episode invariably revolves around Pepé pursuing a "skunk", who, unbeknownst to him, is usually a hapless black cat (retroactively named Penelope Pussycat) who inadvertently has a white stripe painted down her back (sometimes on purpose, sometimes accidental).

There you go Glen. You should name it Penelope.
