Casual shirts with kilts

I have several Iron Maiden shirts and a Celtic cross t shirt that I like to wear with mine. The Celtic shirt goes especially well with my (brand new this afternoon thank you Jerry!) saffron kilt and my black Amerikilt.

Just wear whatever you would normally wear for casual wear. I like the safari shirts too, and t-shirts. But I wear them with jeans and stuff, too. Just make sure the color of your shirt works with the kilt.

This is the exact approach I take... I try to find a shirt color that works with my Tartan and I base my choice on the occasion. I'll put on a button down for more formal events and a good-old T-shirt when I'm feeling lazy or just feel like going casual.

I've sported long sleeve black jerseys and Black T's with my Great Kilt too. Then at other times I've gone full-on time period.

dude, I wear Van Halen, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Slayer and bunch of other t shirts with it. you dont have to be formal or wear long sleeved shirts if you dont want to.
