I've even heard rumor of a warehouse in a town near here which supplies the highland wear to 90% of the private highland wear hire shops in the area. I've never managed to locate the place myself, but now I feel I must.

I agree with the previous posts. I wanted to get a casual sporran and opted for one of the cheaper versions available. Needless to say, once it arrived I realized that I wanted something with a little more substance. The Buzz Kidder was more like what I had in mind, so I placed another order. I now have a BK in brown and black and am very pleased.

look on ebay. You can find some acceptable cheapies there, but you need to be savvy about sporrans. Actually, you can get some good deals on eBay.
