    Hmm...that's a new one. Most versions of the legend tell it that the piper was a Donald, given the association with Col Ciotach Macdonald.

    The legend also states that when the handless skeleton was found in the 19th century, it was given a Christian burial, but the ghost remained active, being that the burial was Episcopalian, and the ghost, most likely a Roman Catholic.
