Dang I wish one was mine. I ordered a Gordon Modern but had to have it custom drop to 19". I'm a shorter fellow and ordered the last kilt for a wedding at 19" and it was perfect. I'm wondering just how long I will have to wait for it to get here, but I ordered it May 1st so it hasn't had a lot of time. I just hope it doesn't have any hang ups and it is in great condition when it gets to me. This is my first one to own so I am very happy.

Frugal Corner Purchase
All,
Like most here, I had heard mixed reviews. Considering my current budget, I just had to give 'em a try! I was VERY pleased! Communication was great, service was good, and the quality of the heavier poly/visc was great!!
My only problem was with the shipping. NOT FC's fault. I asked for USPS Priority, and the U.S. Mail lost the package, for a week! FC gave me all the tracking numbers, the day it was shipped, and I followed it as far as Richmond, Va. where it stalled. It took a few calls to the USPS before they "all of a sudden" found it. It was delivered the morning after I spoke with the Postmaster General in D.C.!!!!!

Just a point of clarification: Frugal Corner's kilts are (unless they've completely changed their line) acrylic NOT poly/visc. It may seem like a minor oversight, but there really is a complete world of difference in the two materials.

Got my FC Gordon Modern and love it. Ordered a lighter weight in Gordon Dress and hate it, but... they screwed up and sent me one that was no longer being sold due to being off-patterned. This was a true blessing in disguise as I don't like the lighter fabric so they are allowing me to reorder and keep the ugly kilt. The white was off to one corner of the set, weird. They are really working with me and being great, only I still need to talk to Mark W about another substitute now since they probably won't be getting any 16oz dress Gordon's. I'm thinking black Stewart, but I wish I could see the mars tartan they offer in 16 oz. Still, very happy the screw up happened and will never order anything lighter in weight than their 16oz.

I'm trying to find time to run up to the store again...
