Favorite album? Can't do that, I like them all. Same with favorite "period", although I do lean towards the early years.

    Favorite song is easy...Nowhere Man.

    Favorite Beatle...Paul, for his vocals.

Favorite Beatles memory...in Grade 7, about 1975, we had a deal in English class where we could order paperback books. I was a HUGE Beatles fan at that point in my young life, and the first book I ordered was the Beatles lyrics book. I was on cloud 9 when it arrived.

Oh, that was understood ! Thanks all the same, Jamie.

After childhood things changed ! I got into John Mayal, Johnny Winter (my teenage Blues period)...

Then , Emerson Lake and Palmer, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant...

    Then, Neil Young, James taylor...

... and finally Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention and Alan Stivell . (later on, I had the incredible opportunity to actually go on touring in Britain with Maddy Prior, Swarb and Alan)

"In my life", I loved them all.

    Best,

    Robert

As a group I think we Moderators prefer Paul McCartney's work with Wings.

Live and Let Die is our theme song after all ...

    Cheers

As one of my dear innocent students said about a decade or so ago ...

"I just heard that Paul McCartney had another band before Wings..."

I voted early Beatles although I think you should have broken off the first option at Revolver as that was truly a revolutionary album (not one of my favourites though). I'm surprised that with my beatle albums that one cannot see light showing through the groove that I've played them so much. As for this "mod" that doesn't like the Beatles, well...

I'm one of those that LOVE them enough to make up the difference for you nay'sayers!

How much do I like them?
    This much:

    Favorite album:

This is SOOOOOOOOOOO hard. I can say my favoriteS are "The White Album", Let It Be, and Abbey Road. Then of course there's Rubber Soul and Revolver. How does one pick his favorite lung???

    Favorite Song:
Man, there are TONS of favorite songs.
In no particular order, and far from complete... just some randoms that come to mind...

In My Life, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, A Day in the Life, Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except for me and my Monkey, Golden Slumbers, Revolution, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Two of Us, Yesterday, Let it Be, The Long and Winding Road, Norwegian Wood, Nowhere Man,....

    Favorite Beatle:
Yeah, count me of those who can't and WON'T pick.

    Favorite Beatle Memory:
We had O bla Di o bla da played at our wedding as we walked down the aisle to receive our friends and family.

    **Bonus**
    Favorite Beatles Cover:
The I am Sam soundtrack was PACKED full of great covers. I enjoyed most all of them.

    That was a great soundtrack.

I can't pick a favorite album, but song would be All you need is love, Don't let me down, or the Ballad of John and Yoko or.......Ok, so maybe a most are favorites.

Favorite Beatle would probably be John, with George and Paul close behind. Not really a Ringo fan.

I remember and was a part of all the Beatle "periods." When they first hit here on Ed Sullivan I was a freshman and really couldn't see what made all the girls swoon...but the next thing you know I had Beatle boots and the hair began to grow...and so did I! Lots of memories, mostly good, but put me down as a diehard fan of the White Albumn....that is me and Rocky Raccoon!!

Sorry to be unpopular, but I've never really been into the Beatles. I was born in 1960, so my appreciation of music didn't really start until around 1972. I've got a couple of original Beatles vinyl singles belonging to my family. I probably hated John Lennon's solo career the most. They are giants of the music industry and I appreciate them for that. I like a lot of their hits, but with someone else singing them. Now, probably my taste would make some folks cringe. For example, I am looking forward to my Neil Diamond concert this weekend. I am finding as I get older, I am willing to give a listen to stuff that passed me by first time around. For example, I recently heard for the first time an album by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. I recently picked up 2 vinyl albums by England Dan & John Ford Coley. They only ever had the "I'd really love to see you tonight' hit here in the UK. I've got stuff from John Mayer, Jason Mraz whom I discovered recently. Loads of new country stuff, Alison Krauss (mmmm), Mary Chapin Carpenter and so the list goes on. What were we talking about? Oh yes, the Beatles. Sorry no vote on this one.
