Who are your group? I just "retired" as president of the Portland club.

The group is The Thistle and Ghillies, Boise, Idaho. The teachers were Monica and Cheri and my wife Diane has just become the third teacher.
I know she's danced with the Portland group when she lived in Oregon and went to the last workshop in Portland a few months ago.
Small world!

I remember Diane. We love the Boise group. They "make" our workshop and ball. Tell them all to prepare for March 12th. It is our 30th. The musicians will be Muriel Johnstone and Callum McKenna, and we have some hot teacher, one of whom is Muriel's husband. Big doings in bridge town.

What a small world!
I just spoke to Diane and she remembers both you and your husband. (Apparently he took lots of pictures, had a wonderful conversation with her and had lots of medals all over his jacket.)
She also informed me that T&G are all set to go in March and that they are going to be inviting all of the Portland group to their St. Andrew's day ball this year!

What is the date of the St. Andrews Ball? We annually host a St. Andrews party at our house on the first Saturday in December, right after the Army / Navy game. (Go Navy, beat Army!), so if it is that weekend, we must regretfully decline. Otherwise, we will try to be there.

I have no idea of the date, but I don't think it will be on the day.
As I recall, last year it was about a week afterwards.
Once I have the date I will let you know.
P.S.
That is a fantastic picture of you two!
