Nothing to add really, but I want to say that the kilt wearing lifestyle is definitely not vegan friendly in the broad scheme of things. The fact that traditional kilts are made out of wool pretty much sets the standard. So, for all you vegans out there who want to wear kilts and kilt accessories I say more power to you. Good luck. You have your work cut out for you and I admire your determination. Please let the forum know of your successes so other vegans can bebefit from your knowledge.

A valid point. I'll add that I'm not a vegan (I'm somewhere in the ballpark), but I have found that when searching for particular clothing items, the search term 'vegan' is much more successful than any other (e.g. 'vegetarian') since the belts THEMSELVES are usually vegan friendly; or shoes, etc. "Non-leather" isn't even as effective, but works.
