Riot is right! My feet hurt.

And, I didn't expect as much Sun and wore the wrong hat; my face and neck are burned bad. Never had that problem at this festival before. I'm afraid that the Celtic themed head ware is out. (I wonder if I can find a good Sun hat in Tartan.)

Also, I spotted you, Nighthawk, and your wife headed through the crowd, but I couldn't attempt to catch up to you because I was standing in one of those infamous food lines and I wasn't about to lose my place.

By-the-way did anyone else see Steven Villegas and his new Wife and Baby?

Ah crap. What a pain. Sorry I missed you. On the other hand, I did a get nice new reed for my chanter. So it's all right I suppose. (Not that that makes things any better for you, but for me it's a consolation.)

Maybe next year. Or Tartan Day. Or St Pat's Day. Or any one of our other festivals!!

It was good to meet all of you on Saturday - sorry I missed Nighthawk & Beeman, though. Nice to put some actual faces to names.

I really enjoyed the festival - just wish I could have gone back on Sunday. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance. My kids really enjoyed the jousting, the trebuchets and the swordplay demonstrations. The cinnamon roasted almonds were good too. The lines were too long to buy actual food, though.

Sorry for the delay, but my internet access has been lost at home (thanks for NOTHING, WindowsXP Service Pack 3). Hopefully I'll get it going again in a day or so.
