Long's Peak Scottish/Irish Highland Festival 2008
I believe it's never to early to start planning to go to a festival! Well, OK, that and I have been stuck on this dang couch with a broken leg and I'm going stir crazy!
Is there anyone else planning on going this year?
I have recently joined the Clan Crawford Association and will be offering some of my time to them to hopefully get a Crawford Booth this year!
Otherwise, I will be roaming around as usual with any manner of my hooligan friends. Wearing a path between the beer tents, whiskey tents, and definitely at the music tents!

I'm there every year working at the piping competition. Let's throw the web site up too. I won't know my exact schedule but it is typically Sat after 1 PM till about 4 and Sun from about 9 AM to Noon/1 PM. I usually get a chance to wander around for a while, just wish it was longer ![Confused](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
BTW, Albannach is going to be there again this year along with Oceans Apart, Gobs O Phun, Brother and Hadrians Wall.

Livingston, I'm sure we'll discuss schedules closer to the fest.
Will you be able to come up to Denver for Tartan Day? It looks like Fort Collins may be sending down a small handful of Rabble ourselves.

Yes, we'll be there. Our plans are to visit Mom and Dad in Estes this weekend and then the Tartan Day fun the following weekend. I've talked to a couple of my Celtic co-workers about it but they won't know their plans till closer to time.

That's great. I'm really looking forward to meeting the Colorado Contingent!
The music at Estes this year looks to be top notch. I've never had the chance to see Brother but have been a fan for years. I'm thinking about going up very early Friday to catch the Seminar: "Celtic roots of Old-time, Western Cowboy music of the Northern Rockies & Plains". That actually intrigues the heck out of me, just don't tell my Punk Rock buddies.
