Kilt Strap Extenders

Yup, just found out Rocky had them too. AND, he specifies that they are leather. Celtic Croft didn't mention the material so wasn't sure if theirs were leather - but guessed they were.

Celtic Croft only offers the 1 1/4" width, USA Kilts offers that size and a 1 1/2" width.

Is this a great board or what that we can spot and share a deal like that??

Ron, thanks for bringing these to my attention. I just ordered a set. I'm losing weight and bought a WPG MacKenzie military box pleat kilt on ebay, but it's a bit too small. I'm intrigued by what Tetley said about using them to wear kilts that are too big too (I have a few of those), but I'm not sure how that would work.

I'm too big for the kilt not the other way round. The effect is the same in that in all cases the kilt is too small and the extenders allow the kilt to be worn, only in my case the kilt are deliberately too small since I'm losing weight not gaining it.

I think I may have made this suggestion before: For the Kilts that are too large, get a pr of clip-on braces (suspenders to the Yanks). Young dancers wear them, (they ain't got hips, yet), and I seem to recall a picture of kilted soldiers without jackets (they were on a work detail) and they were also wearing braces.

Just got mine in the mail today - they are great! I'm wearing my WPG MacKenzie (Seaforth Highlander) military box pleat kilt that I got on Ebay, but is still too small. I STILL intend to lose weight to wear it properly, but the extenders are allowing my to extend the amount of time I can wear it.
