    To me, the "Traditional Tie" style garter is the only way to go. Not only "looks" but COMFORT!!




    Another option is "Snake Garters"

    BTW, I'm very much jonesing for at least one pair of the traditional garter ties from STM.

    At the moment I have a pair double loop flashes like the ones on at right:



    They seem a bit way over the top for regular wear at this point. (And, in fact, if anyone likes these and wants to swap for a pair of traditional ties, please PM me.)

    That said, I also own a pair of Lochcarron flashes like these (but in black) that I prefer to wear with my PC:



    I just think the cleaner or more contemporary look goes better for "black tie", but I might reconsider once I get a proper pair of hose (i.e., tartan) to go with my PC kit.
