I'd never heard of the other version here is the IMDB page on it, though I think I'll stick to the original.

It's worth seeing, although it's not as good as the original. The BBC remake focuses more on the Russian Civil War, as Rob mentioned, as well as the more "political" theme that got the book banned in the USSR in the first place.
If I remember correctly, the new version does a lot more with Pasha/Strelnikov.
Now...how many here have either attempted to read the novel, or actually finished it?
