Glad you had a great day, as they all are in a kilt.

    Update:

So just wanted to update what happened this evening after work. Today happened to be the night of our work party. All the faculty and staff of our school got together at a local Mexican restaurant. Because it was a Mexican place (and me being a Spanish teacher) I decided to leave the kilt at home. Once I got there, most of the faculty and staff kept asking me why I wasn't wearing my kilt! I thought that was pretty amazing. I realized that a kilt can be worn anywhere, even a Mexican restaurant!

    Thanks for all the support!

Instead of saying even, I would say especially. Places like that are ethnic. It makes more sense (to my mind) to be ethnic in ethnic places, like Mexican and Italian joints.

    So- how was the party?

It was a lot of fun! I work with some great people. Me and my wife enjoyed it a lot! I love the food they serve and the atmosphere they create. Wearing my kilt would have made it that much better. You are right. Ethnic restaurants are a perfect place to wear a kilt. I knew I should have worn it!

Way to go sir. Now, that was easy wasn't it? I wear my kilt to school at least once a week and get compliments galore from the students. They will say "Oh, it must be Friday, Nulty's got his kilt on." Once you go monthly, you'll want to go kilted more often, and before you know it, it'll be once a week. Congratulations on clearing your first huge hurdle.

That second one gave me chills! I went to Regis Jesuit High. Reminds me of Bro. Fava... Man, was he one grouchy Jesuit!
