While personally not acquainted with Atlanta Kilts, they are a rental outfit. I have had good experiences buying formal clothes (not kilt) from such vendors. I am not sure how many times an outfit is rented out before it goes on sale, but not too many.

Having checked out their website, I would guess the choice of tartans would be very limited.
