Thanks to a couple of folks for some behind-the-scenes effort!

I sincerely appreciate the ideas and the support - I certainly understand why pipers are otherwise engaged, since it's so late though, we have changed the order of service to exclude the piper for now. As I just told someone in a PM, I am just very disappointed that I am unable to honour her wishes. In keeping with McFarkus' idea, I may try again at the point that her cremains are released or interred, depending on my father's wishes.

Thanks for the thoughts, ideas and PMs of support.

    Barclay,
I wish I could help you out tomorrow. Are you sure no one form the Loch Norman band can play? I read here or somewhere that the Charlotte St. Pat's Day events had been cancelled or postponed.

I don't think you've let your mother down. In fact, there will probably be more 'pipes played tomorrow, the world around, than any other day this year, and there's bound to be hundreds or maybe even thousands of them playing "Amazing Grace", "Flowers of the Forest," and more festive tunes, as well. She asked you for A 'piper; by having her memorial service tomorrow, you've given her many, mnay times over and above what she requested, probably the same way she did things for you when you were growing up. I think her wishes will be honored more than you or she or all of XMTS put together could have arranged.

    'Pipers,
Tomorrow or Tuesday or whenever you play next, do it in memory of the late Mother Barclay. I think she'd like that.
