...oh yeah... My cats love them, too- much to my dismay... Cat hair is so hard to get out of wool, and they wee beasties have claws that snag in acrylic, so no more SWK standards for me...

My wife has never voiced her opinion on the issue....oh wait I don't have a wife or a girlfriend but if Mom counts in the discussion than she tends to lean to the dis-like side of the issue. I also have a sister who lives with us who absolutely hates kilts, bagpipes, and anything else of a celtic nature.

I have neither a wife nor girlfriend, but I do enjoy the attention that women give me when I am kilted. I could be wearing a Stillwater with no buckles, t-shirt and boots with scrunched down sock and will get more positive comments than if I was wearing a Pierre Cardin suit.

My wife loves them. Infact she has berated others in the past for trying to make fun of me while in the kilt. Also, the ladies I work with also love the kilt.

My wife and kids think I'm being silly. The wife does'nt mind me wearing them when we go out though she thinks it's just my middle age crisis. The kids (son who is 20 and daughter who is 18) look at me like I lost my mind.
But thats allright because I normally look at the way they dress and think they are crazy.

My wife is cool with my kilt wearing. My daughter loves it, my son is ok with it, and my parents think it looks very nice. Glad they all appriciate it as much as I do.

My wife thinks I'm off. She rolls her eyes and make comments like "a kilt, again?", as too my son, the 17 year wonder boy, who wonders aloud "why of all things a kilt?".
My family thinks I'm odd, but then they always have; I'm the only one who did any organized activities in High School or College and I Rodeoed semi pro for a while, They thought that was off as well. When I decided to pursue they ministry the really thought I had lost it. I remember my Aunt's reaction "You are going to do what?....why they don't make enough to spit at!" .....as if following a calling had anything to do with money.
I do have some supporters however, my Mum thinks its grand, she is especially fond of my Lindsay. One of my best friends thinks I'm dashing in the Kilt, and asked me to make sure I show up tomorrow to do a blessing for her earth day celebration in my kilt and formal attire.
Like Ron, I must follow the admonition "to thine own self be true", kilts are now a part of my life; like em or lump em, I'm gonna wear em! ith:
