Anyone going to the Braemar Gathering this year, please let me know so we can have a drink together. I will be camping in Ballater.

What, not going down to Oban for the Argyllshire Gathering?
We're sorry we'll be absent this year.

Good for you, Jock. Go carefully - you have made fantastic progress and the last thing we want to hear about is a set-back.
No, sorry I will not be there, or anywhere else in Scotland now until the Ferintosh Burns celebrations in Dumfries in January.
Have a great day out.
Take care,
Ham.

That is one Gathering I have always wanted to attend but have never made it. Maybe I will one of these days. Have a great time, Alan.

I'd like to say that I'm not able to get away do to the pressure of work, but frankly the death of my of chum David Lumsden has rather taken the wind out of my sails when it comes to events in Scotland this year. Maybe next year...

I am a descendant of Malcolm Canmore, and, if I was not in France, I would be very proud and happy to join this memorable Braemar gathering !

I won't be at the Gathering, due to a Saturday commitment on the other side of the Cairngorms. Will probably be in the Braemar area on the Sunday however, heading into the Cairngorms for a day on the hills (battered & naturally weathered Buchanan, if you happen to pass me!)
