Now we're talking about MY kind of riding!!! Not quite up to the caloric output standards needed for lycra shorts and jersey... unless the lycra ensemble is done up in tartan. 
Then again, what cyclist among us doesn't have the Harris Tweed jacket, the hose, and the trousers to be altered?
The only REAL problem I see with following Jamie's example with a full charge of panache is, Who has a vintage bike? With platform pedals?
