The rest of us Beagle owners want to know if there'll be a t-shirt.

Mine is a Lemon Beagle and gets a lot of second looks because folks expect a tri-color and can't quite reconcile the Beagle shape with non-traditional color.

Best line I ever got off was when I was sitting at a picnic table outside of a drive in burger joint up in Minnesota with the dog (Portia) laying at my feet...one of the locals walks over and asks, "Is your Beagle a good hunting dog?" "No," sez I,"she's a damn good sleeping dog, though...can sleep through just about anything." The fella went on to say that he had a few Beag's and wanted to expand the gene pool and was hoping that Portia would be interested in a boyfriend. I had to explain that she had been spayed and while she might enjoy a little summer romance, puppies would be out of the equation.

A t-shirt? BRILLIANT! How about "Beagle Brown Ale made with Hare Hound Hops"?
My beagle 'found' me as a pup--spent some great years chasing rabbits. Other than that he's learned no other useful skill. I envy him At 15 now, he's allowed to sleep where he wills.

But now you need an illustration of a Beagle and a Rabbit both hanging on each other, singing and hoisting a frothy mug...

I take it that everybody has seen some of the Ralph Steadman drawings for various bevvies.

I have the exact same experience. Granted stepping over the dog while cooking is a shared experience for anyone with a golden, but coincidentally at last weigh-in mine was also 105#.

OK, so I was inspired by this thread to actually create a label for my current batch of beer. With the talk of beagles, I decided to use that as well in honor of my Blue Tick Beagle "Cleatis" who I lost to cancer in '07.

I made this using MS WORD and added the image as a .jpg file and sized it to what I thought would work. I was able to fit 6 on each page and I printed them using a HP inkjet on the highest quality setting. I then took my master to Staples and for less than $5 had color laser copies made (ink won't run). I then used a gluestick and was able to add the labels to my bottles very quickly and very inexpensive.

Try milk instead of glue stick. Fill a saucer, and slide the back side of the label across the milk. Place on bottle and roll bottle with label on a towel to press firm. It will stick for a long time, yet fall off as soon as it gets wet.

The glue stick I used is not typical and creates a seal very similar to the sticky on the back of a post-it which was very easy to work with.
I'll give the milk a try with my next batch.
