I've got a few of these now:

They are ebayable (search for "Celtic Brooch" or similar.) Made by St Justine's Pewter Jewellery in Cornwall and on ebay at least, they are usually priced at less than or around the same as the ubiquitous claymore pin.
Not necessarily traditional but nicely different in my opinion.
