Love your subscapularis.
The wind up technique is wildly dangerous for anyone who doesnt have a fetish for rotator cuff surgery. Anyone who even thinks about it for the 56lb needs to have a word with themselves. Show me a champion who uses it and ill consider retracting that statement!

I tried it and it was okay (28lbs), but decided against it. Is all good.

we have about 9-10 guys that compete and 5-7 that practice together. One of our guys is going to be in New Mexico this weekend for the games. We have 1 A class, 2-3 B class, 3-5 C class and a handful of Masters. We have a guy named Mike North thats has been helping us. We usually practice once a week but i have taken a few weeks off due to still being sore.

How does the class system work? we work in terms of open, confined and masters. open being the invitational, confined is like amatuer, locals confined to their local district, and masters would be much the same i would have thought. would guys like Vierra and Brock be class A?

The way it mostly works here is that you have a professional class (Vierra, Brock etc) and the the amatuer classes. Amatuer classes usually are A, B and C, (based on skill level) the Masters and sometimes even lightweigts (under 190 lbs). Depending on who shows up and their abilities, sometimes the Ams are lumped into an "Open" class.
Check out http://www.nasgaweb.com/getstart.asp for the typical class breakdown.

Thanks for that chaps, pretty much the same as here. Pro/am leagues. we tend not to have enough amatuers to split them into classes!
