I'd venture to say they are turkey feathers...they typically have bars on them like that. You see them from white and brown through many darker tan colors to all dark. There are many that feel, and perhaps rightly so, that the Turkey should have been the official bird of the USA.
They are more simular to a mature golden eagle feathers.
