There's a outdoor-cinema showing of Seachd going on in our local village on Saturday which we're hoping to attend - could be good if the midges and rain stay away....

Sounds like a fine evening out. Is this a special occasion, or a regular weekend event?
Midges...how crazy would it sound if I said I had a sick kind of nostalgia for the little beasties? Not that I would ever actually say such a thing out loud...
You mention the local village, and your by-line says by Loch Ness. Would that be Drumnadrochit-Lewiston-Strone area by chance?
