I got into trouble for bringing my Sgian into Heathrow in '99 @ customs.
Thankfully, I'm Scottish (read UK Citizen) and the 'National Dress' argument worked.

Insanity. Even though you can wear a sgian dubh in Scotland, it's still insanity. Carrying a knife is not about carrying a weapon, for most. It's a tool, and a very useful one for peaceful purposes.
