That's a very nice job, well done. I complement you on the the very good idea of a pocket in the lining of the kilt. I am surprised that it is not suggested more often- I know I have used the waistband as pocket of sorts on occasion.

Nice kilt. and you have only made 2!!!! do you have a background as a tailor.

I do that all the time,. it works wonders for a quick place to slide my cell phone.
