I think your kit looks very fine! I particularly like the penannular instead of the usual kilt pin. I also wear a penannular every now and then and prefer it. Kudos also on tying the tie yourself. Don't hesitate to make the bow less than perfect so that everyone knows you tied it!

The tie and shirt are the two bits of the outfit I was sure I had under control. I've worn the same style shirt for the better part of the last two decades, and this is the SAME tie I've worn for that same amount of time.
The tie is actually starting to show it's age. I'll miss it when it's gone. It's been to some ripping parties, my wedding, and a few very nice dinners.
The penannular is really nice, much nicer in person than in pix. It's also light, which I like. I know it runs contrary to the purpose of a kilt pin (holding down the apron), but I do hate when I feel that constant weight bumping into my right thigh.
Hopefully our WARPIPER will log on and post the pix that were shot from the big 'do'.
