Versus 40 train robbers/rapists armed with swords, other blades, and maybe-functional firearms.

3 robbers dead, 8 injured, the rest fled, thanks to one man with a khukuri.

I'm raising a glass of good malt in honor of Bishnu Shrestha.
BRAVO!!

A bit OT, but I'm reminded of a story that came out of WWII North Africa.

The Germans learned that the Ghurkhas were across the lines from them.
A pair of Germans in a fox hole asked their sergeant:
"How will we know if the Ghurkhas have infiltrated our lines during the night."
The ol' sergeant looked at them and said:
"Shake your head, if it falls off, they've been here."
