Why would you want to toast it??? Cover it in tomato sauce (ketchup), put the square sausage on it, then fold the other half over the top...
Well it makes sense to me... of course if you dont know plain bread and square sausage the description might be lacking something...

Stovies is great
Butteries are ok, but I thought them a little dry
Irn Bru was not to my taste. Sort of an orange flavored ginger ale.
Haggis tastes better in Scotland. I didn't care for the canned stuff sold here in the states.

I like toast and it livens up a slice of dull plain loaf but the bugger never fit unless you cut the top off. Never cared for the hard top either.
With you on the ketchup though, I'll just take mine with pan.

First two, no.
Haggis, yes, but it's a variable feast according to the authenticity of ingredients.
Irn Bru, yes, my review came up on another thread, but to me it's like orange soda mixed with Pepsi, Dr Pepper, and iron filings. Safely dissolved iron filings I hasten to add. Griders, well, I say the taste is iron, not steel but it's a close call.

re plain loaf: just pop it down twice and put loads of butter on it. Mmmmm might go have a slice now.

Course that's only a problem if you're using a toaster... we used to use a toasting fork and the fire... either gas or coal... we was poor folks though...
