Classy! Especially if you're Anglican or Catholic.... That could work quite well, I'm sure. (Perhaps some other traditional denominations as well).
I would consider doing something like that too, but I'm not so fond of crosses as much as I used to. I used to wear a really cool-looking silver one on a chain around my neck when I was in college (many moons ago) but I stopped (for personal reasons I probably shouldn't get into on this site).
I do however like some of the alternative suggestions proposed by Mike... To that I would also add a Christian fish as a possibility. I've not seen it done, but I can't see why it shouldn't be.
