Do you think that I ought to wear kilt hose, with the kilt, in that situation and if I do, should the hose be scrunched down?

Scrunched into Doc Martens, for sure. That's the only way to show off the clan badge tattoo on your calf!

I was picturing them scrunched down but while wearing a pair of Birkenstock sandles... (because socks and sandles are my personal favorite
