I know a few of you are sitting on the edge your seats for the next installment on this ABF Tie thread and things have dragged a bit of late; so to help things along, I’m slipping out of the queue.
Until of late, I did not know there was another life besides ‘matchy matchy’. So here is that presentation that I’ve been most comfortable with. A white shirt to wear. With one big difference for me! Usually I would have worn solid color hose but have grown fond of full Argyll hose for day wear. I love these monk strap shoes.

So you noticed! Yes, I am a bowtie wearer, so I had the ‘Smart Turnout’ ABF neck tie converted to a bowtie by my friend Jessica of Beau Ties Ltd of Vermont. Well done, Jessica.

Now to be Jocked! Okay the white shirt went! I switched to a tattersall shirt. I put on a converted VMac Harris tweed sport jacket. Switched out the monk straps for proper brogues. Too add, a real pop, as influenced by Acaig, yellow hose! I’ve also gone to wearing ‘matching’ color self tie garters to the hose. I really like the look of that. (Yes, some habits are too hard to break!) Now for a real daring part for me was going belt less. That was a really comfortable change that I will incorporate more and more. Thanks for the lead, JSFMACLJR. And to really compliment you Sandy, I wore the sporran a little low!

Mael Coluim, I commend you on jumping the queue. The ABF looks great as a bow tie!

Ern, you are dashing as always. The dandelion really sets off the whole kit.
I have my tie, but haven't taken any pictures. I will, I will...

The red berries besides the dandelion are Rowan berries from the plant badge of the Clan MacCallum Malcolm. They were given to me by a kinsman. Talk about an identity complex!
