I tried Steve's method...it felt a bit lopsided with weight, so I started folding it into thirds just as I wear it and then clip it as Spartan describes...apron and under apron in the clips of one hanger, back pleated portion in the other...that way the weight is relatively even on both hangers and balanced side to side as well. I'll admit to being partial to wood hangers, so I don't use free store plastic hangers, but rather some relatively cheap, yet wide, wood and metal skirt hangers with rubber-tipped metal clips. I bought them at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
