There are probably about a half dozen folks in my neighborhood who wear kilts around. Don't really know any of them, but one day I actually saw two other kilted folk within an hour.

I live in Rogers Park on the North Side of Chicago. It was listed in the Chicago Reader as the most diverse neighborhood in Chicago with a lot of folk wandering around in ethnic garb, so the kilt doesn't phase anyone except some of the Jehovah's Witnesses who blanch when they see a man wearing a "skirt".
