    I still have mine. Also have a pair from the 1970's, along with the garters (elastic is shot ), and the green tabs (flashes). It's scary what scouting uniform parts I still have.

    Boy Scout socks indeed...

    Yes they are!!! Robert (Ancienne Alliance) wears a pair just like them...I wonder if his are actually wool kilt hose or where they came from? He gave me the inspiration. I used to have tons of pair of them as I worked at a Scout Camp for several summers...I only have one pair remaining in my wardrobe here, though dad may still have many pairs at his house...not sure.
