Thanks! Just to clarify. my three boys are ages 7, 5 (nearly 6), and 4. Their two sisters are 8 (nearly 9) and just turned 1.

That reminds me of when I was a little kid, and people would ask my dad how many children he wanted.

His answer, almost without fail, was, "One less than I have now."

Actually it's Malcolm (the middle boy) that usually is a problem during pictures. Maddie tends to be more photogenic.

You couldn't imagine how hard it is to get five small children all looking in the same direction at the same time, let alone smiling!

Our definition of a sucessful family photo is when none of the kids look overtly goofy. :-)
