Very nice! It is pleated so perfectly it took me a few moments to realize it was pleated at all! (That could be partly due to tired eyes, but it's still impressive to me!)

The red lining is a nice touch as well.

The next time I hear about a kilt-making class, you've inspired me to sign up; I want to be able to do that!

I'm a little surprised at how well the sett looks from the inside as well.

Ta muchly. I hope to have enough fabric for all of them to have the same lining.

I would like to see the pleats on the outside. Can you post a pic, as I too am amazed that the inside so closely resembles the sett.

This kilt is already boxed for shipping, but I will show you the next set of pleats which are to sett as well.
Trust me when I say it looks even better on the outside.

Excellent looking kilt. I'm a fan of the Tartan as well. It is definitely one on my list of must haves, as its used as the Nova Scotia Highlanders Tartan as well. Great Work!!

To be specific, the NS Highlanders use Clan MacDonald tartan in a 9" sett. This is MacDonald of Clanranald and 7.5" sett.

Sorry, my confusion... All those red lines look so alike to me!
