I don't know...
I think this type of jacket does look better when it doesn't close completely. (as long as the shirt and/or waistcoat does!) ;)
For me a jacket looks better when it's just a slight pull to close. (not a great stretch, just enough to bring the waist of the jacket in). Hard to explain what I mean... when it is closed, there shouldn't be space floating around your sides.
