I would point out that Jenkins is also a common Welsh name, and that there is a tartan for that name but, from your current avatar, I see you have already found it.
Regarding any of your ancestors' surnames, I would suggest that the best way to find out to what tartans you may be "entitled" is to trace those surnames back to a specific place in Scotland. This is especially true of surnames that could as easily be Welsh or English as Scottish.

Well as a child my father always told me that his side of the family was Scottish, English, and Welsh, he never gave me much more other than that. Upon all of my genealogy research I have traced back far enough to my English roots, I'm having trouble getting any further than that.
However when I trace my mothers side I notice that I can easily find the Scottish generations there, her maiden name "Crum" (originally for MacCrum, Mac was dropped within generations) belongs to clan MacDonald, and then her mothers (my grandmothers) maiden name "Sharp" which belongs to clan Stewart.
I just need to do a bit more digging to find the rest of my fathers side.
