As far as a D/FW kilt meet up, name it. As long as I'm not working, I can make it.
Flying Saucer (Fort Worth) allows smoking pipes and cigars outdoors, and the Bull & Bush (also Fort Worth) allows pipes and cigars everywhere.

As for dates I'm waiting on when the scarf will be making it's rounds to DFW. If we want to do something sooner let me know.
On the smoking, I would prefer it be at a place that does have a non-smoking area as my wife and I don't smoke. Also for the scarf I think it would be best if it is not forwarded with smoke on it as it is not ours and I don't know who it will be going to.

I agree completely with this. But, there might be a compromise. I know there are a few places in Dallas (such as Gingerman off McKinney) that are very nice, have great beer, and have a deck or outside area that allows smoking. I have enjoyed a good cigar and an exotic beer several times at such an establishment. Just a suggestion.

I'm all for that. That why I said a non-smoking area with the assumption that there was a smoking area for those who which to indulge. Just like the drinking. Amy and I aren't drinkers (I have one occasionally) but are ok with a place that serves it.
So the question on the floor is do we wait for the scarf or do we go ahead with a kilt night now and plan another one for when we know?
I'll start a voting thread.

August 6 looks like it would work for us too. I will have to check with the better half to be sure.
