Wonderful photos! The last time I was in San Diego was in 1999 at MCRD for Marine Corps Recruit Training!!! My wife and I recently returned from Marine Week in my hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri - we had a blast! It was awesome seeing the Silent Drill Team, the Albany Marine Band, various static and dynamic Marine Corps displays, etc! We even had our photo taken with the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps (see below)!
Me (wearing appropriately; my miniature medals, miniature parachutist wings, and USMC Regimental necktie), my wife, Stephanie (also a Marine), and the ACMC, General Joseph F. Dunford Jr. (note the ACMC's Aide-de-Camp in the background, wearing the scarlet and gold aiguillette)

Sorry gents, no Highland day attire this time around...now if I had a kilt in the Leatherneck tartan, it most certainly would have been a different story!
