    I'm a bit late here (as usual, haha) but I just wanted to point out that I do wear a traditional kilt. It's the only one I have. I just happen to enjoy wearing it casually. Indeed I feel that because it's a traditional kilt, it's not likely to get mistaken for a skirt. I've worn it many times without the sporran and never had an odd glance Iwouldn't have received with the sporran.

    This isn't to put down sporrans or those that wear them. There are times when they are assuredly appropriate. But if I strap on the kilt with a sweater and boots, I don't feel like bothering with one. Feel free to call me lazy...

    hey im not sure i find a sporran needed but i love the look of them i live in the midwest so most of the year its cool enough for a jacket ... i do love the look and i am an addict to browsing for them ... i would consider the pouches on the waist idea hadnt seen them before here well boys and not boys thats my btw i looked on freelanders web and it sent me to freedom ... and they werent listed their ... any idea where to find prices and possibly buy
