Excellent; looks like an ideal kilt for that type of work.

I like the Dickies-type fabric of the UK Original. I wanted tan because I also spend a bit of time out in the sun on a forklift, which can get hot here in Colorado. I found this UK on ebay. It's a bit long for me, but hey, for work, I couldn't beat the deal I got. Besides, I've been waiting FOREVER for UK to let me know that they have an olive drab in stock. That doesn't seem to be happening, so my tan will be my work kilt indefinitely, even if it is a bit long. I'm sure that none of my co-workers will notice.

Unfortunatly, where I work ( convenient store; I am a strugglign college student afterall), uses a lot of bleech. And as much as Id like to wear mine to work, I just know by the end of the day id end up with some sort of new, weeping, streaked white, tartan. Clan McClorox?

    Looks nice though!

Ozone - UKs are designed for "utility" wear and are meant to be worn below the kneecaps to provide that extra bit of coverage while bending, squatting, going up and down ladders, etc.

Looks great, and I think too that the job seems an excellent one to be kilted.
    Enjoy the freedom!

Don't wait for UK, get on Steve's site at Freedom Kilts. You'll be glad you did.

I was speaking with a woman from my church who saw me kilted at a slient auction. The next day she said that her office adopted "casual Fridays" and some guy asked if he could wear his kilt! She said (as the office manager) "I don't know about that, I'll have to think about it." I asked her how in the world you could allow blue jeans or nastly unpressed and ill-fitting khakis while not allowing a gorgeous wool kilt in the height of fashion. She said, "I'll admit you did look good." So, perhaps case closed.

So who is the kilted man with an office manager/boss named Tina in the general Winston-Salem area?
