If you are not used to the altitude, you'll be powerful thirsty. I recommend lots of water...at first.

Just a few weeks away! I'll be running with a rabble o' rockers (most of the band members of Give 'Er Hell, kilted of course!) and would love to meet up with anyone who wishes. Has anyone thought about a meet up place yet?

How about Noon on Saturday at the beer tent nearest the heavy athletics? That is usually a good place to spot a bunch of kilts. At this point I don't know for sure what I'll be wearing, no accurate weather reports this far out.

My wife, parents, sister and brother-in-law will be at the parade too. We'll be within sight of the start as usual. Just remember, there are two beer tents, we want the one closest to where the athetics are.

Look for me in the parade. One of our clan members called the parade organizer and asked if we could march in the parade and they said OK. So I'll likley be in the parade helping with a Barclay banner of some kind. I'll probably be wearing the Barclay Dress kilt. It gets mistaked for the "Loud McLeoud". But its much nicer looking. If someone close could give a weather forecast the Thursday before, that would be great. I know I can look it up on weather.com, but I trust someone actually in the state rather than the internet.
Thanks

Weather.com is what I look at before heading up and usually gets fairly close but it's for Ft Collins so if you drop the temp between 5 + 15 degrees you'll be close. Be prepared for rain. The way things have been this month it will be very possible. If it does snow, it should melt off by noon.
